Overview

The Cluster Exchange Service (CES) is a proactive maintenance program designed to ensure your milking parlor operates at peak efficiency. By automatically managing your liner and claw sanitization, we help reduce somatic cell counts (SCC) and improve overall animal welfare.

When is my next exchange? (The 2,500 Rule)

To maintain peak performance and prevent teat tissue damage, liners must be changed every 2,500 milkings.

How to calculate your frequency:

To find your specific day interval, use the following formula:

$$(2500 \times \text{Number of Milking Units}) / (\text{Herd Size} \times \text{Milkings per Day}) = \text{Days between changes}$$

Note: If your herd size or milking frequency changes, please update your profile via the AI Agent or contact your dealer to adjust your delivery schedule.

The Exchange Process: 4 Simple Steps

  1. Dispatch: We ship refurbished claws with brand-new Impulse Air liners directly to your farm.

  2. Fit: You swap your current clusters with the new ones (typically takes <20 minutes).

  3. Return: Place your used clusters in the provided plastic boxes. Use the pre-paid return label.

  4. Reporting: One week after return, you will receive a Liner Scoring Report analyzing your parlor’s wash efficiency.

Common Troubleshooting & FAQs

  • What if a liner splits before my exchange date? Every CES shipment includes a "Spare Parts Kit" (short air tubes and spare liners). If you run out of spares, ask the AI Agent to "Request Spare Parts Kit."

  • Are the clusters new? The first delivery is brand new. Subsequent exchanges provide factory-refurbished claws/shells and 100% brand-new rubber liners.

  • How do I pay? Invoicing is handled directly through your local authorized milkrite | InterPuls dealer.
